Green World is our at most aim
Prevent Deforestation
Traditional wood-based pencils are the result of heavy deforestation and manufacturing. A 20-foot Pine tree needs to be cut down to make 2500 pencils; and there are over 14 billion pencils produced worldwide every year. Think about the number of trees that have been cut . . .
Mitigate Global Warming
With every tree that is cut, global warming and climate change becomes a more shocking reality – massive droughts and floods, soaring temperatures, icecaps melting, rising seawater levels, and entire forest ecosystems being destroyed. Next time you see a wood pencil – think.
Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
Wood takes 13+ years to decompose. That’s a serious toll on the planet. Tamizha takes paper out of the landfills or recycling plants and puts them back into your hands – as a high-quality 2HB pencil! If you’re looking to go green at home or the office, then start with the pencils you’re using
